Manchester on the other hand I wasn’t... read more sure what to expect as already knew the place very well and thought some of the magic exploring new unseen places might be missing however it was just as fun in its own different way.

I’d highly recommend this to those visiting for the first time and equally those like me who’ve seen the place more than they care to remember!

Oh and bonus points for a spooky experience in one of the pints of interest along the way 👻

We took the whole day over it and added in a trip to... read more the Cathedral on route as well as a nice lunch and a couple of 'Pints of Interest' which were a great way to review evidence and answer the clues. Will definitely do more elsewhere and have already recommended to friends.

  Okay, but over complicated in most parts  - I’m not sure if it was just my incapabilities but I didn’t actually find this treasure hunt that great. I usually love doing these and I’ve done about 10 of... read more the treasurehunt.co.uk ones and loved all of them! This one I honestly found to be too difficult. Don’t get me wrong, I love searching for clues (like plaques on the walls and having to use dates as clues etc) but I was stumped on the first clue and then the third and then the fourth and it just got ridiculous and basically not fun my other half didn’t get that engaged either because it was all too confusing and there were too many pieces of paper to keep switching between. I lost it when I got to the Roman numerals clue and another one on the front of a building with words like Li5 (I won’t give much away not that I’d be able to anyway!) so we just have up in the end and went to one of the pubs. I think we got to clue 6 and then called it a day and watched football instead (pic attached haha). I wish it could have been a simple find the plaque and dates and then just cross that off on the word search, rather then getting extremely technical and over complicated with Roman numerals and something that looked like it was out of space invaders. It’s frazzled my poor brain! And to be fair to myself, I took the trail to the pub quiz I went to that evening and even my team were stumped on the Li5 type clue!!!!! So yeah, it’s a shame really as I really wanted to love this as an alternative to the company I always use but I don’t think I’ll use them again. But hey, maybe they’re just too intelligent for me 🙁

  Great fun.  - Fantastic and fun way to explore the city. Unfortunately some scaffolding threatened to scupper our very first clue but we managed it. Clues were sometimes challenging but totally do-able.
