  An amazing day out for all you bidding super sleuths.  - Absolutely fantastic,made for an amazing day out.
Clues are perfect, not too easy and not too hard. Whoever came up with the clues and locations is a genius. Lots of hidden gems in the City of London that you would normally walk past. Great pubs to stop off along the way for refreshments and to solve the additional riddles. Looking forward to doing the next ones.
Brilliant value for money would highly recommend.

  The sights you love via routes you didn't know existed.  - A last minute Christmas present idea, this was a cracker.
From the moment we began our trail in Trafalgar Square, we absolutely relished the puzzles, clues, insights and tour of some real hidden gems in London's West End. All of the most popular areas are covered by you get to them by weaving through some unknown back streets, taking in sights you never knew were there.
This is ace and we'll be doing the next London one soon.

  Brilliant!! - We loved this! Beautiful way to explore the city, in a fun and interactive way. Was so impressed by the thought and design that’s gone into creating this and got to experience pagers of the city I would not have known about. Teams loved it and was great fun to create a competitive spirit and enjoy day out. Would highly recommend and be can’t wait to order next one for our next city break!

  Couples that solve murder together stay together - We did this on a rare day off as something we could do that was different. It was so much fun, me and the boyfriend trying to solve the clues. We learnt a lot about the city that we didn’t already know. As I am a yellow belly I really enjoy that.
The puzzles can be very puzzling but we managed without the prompts.

  Fun and purposrful way to explore around city of London  - Fun and purposeful way to explore around City of London. Plenty to see and a novel, well set clue search hunt. Great for couples, families or small groups.

  Lincoln Murder Mystery  - Did this murder mystery at the weekend, thoroughly enjoyed it. Clues were challenging but not too hard, good balance of stops and “refreshment opportunities”. Encourages you to take in the history of Lincoln and look at things you’d ordinarily walk past. Would recommend to others.

  Great fun and enjoyable challenge.  - Really entertaining and engaging way to see parts of London. Makes you look up too. Well constructed clue hunt and theme. A highlighter is useful.

  Fun, historic trail. Highly recommend!  - Highly recommend! Great gift for those who enjoy murder mystery books/games. Already looking to book the next trail.

Fun, historic trail around Winchester - a great one to pick if you have not visited Winchester before. We took lots of pictures and videos. Clues were a good mix of hard and easy making sure your mind was really put to the test.

Make sure to allow plenty of time (more than 2.5 hours) to get around when town is busy and also before sky gets dark in winter.

  Great fun trail, really engaging  - We really enjoyed this trail. We'd done one before, in our home town. It was great to walk round a combination of familiar and new places and notice details that we'd not have seen otherwise. Good facts about the area too.

Clues were all there and we only had to resort to a hint once.

  Murder with tea and cakes - This was an excellent way to see parts of the city we may not have found whilst walking around. Solving the clues was great fun, and whilst not too taxing they did require some thought.

We spent a very happy day solving the murder (successfully) stopping off for lunch and tea and cakes as we completed the route. Would definitely recommend it.

  Afternoon Sleuthing  - This is such a fun experience! It's a great way to see the city and the main landmarks plus it doesn't feel like you're walking that far because you're looking for clues along the way.

I'd say it took us a couple of hours to complete, the route is really easy and it was great to finish back on Davygate.

After completing the final clue, we strolled over to Impossible to sit with a drink and piece it all together. Definitely recommend!

This Killer Trail is fun for all ages and we even had a couple of locals stop and ask what we were looking for, it certainly piqued a lot of interest!

Well worth the money!

  A really fun way to see the city - We didn't know what to expect from the KillerTrail around Bath but had a fantastic time. We were a group of adults and really enjoyed the puzzles and clues. It took us around all the sights of Bath. Would really recommend it.
The only thing that would improve the trail would be some more historical information on the sights as you go to them - some have a fact about the spot, which we really liked, so more of these would be great!

  Fun day out seeing the sights of Chester - Great way to see the sights! Enjoyed finding the clues and getting everything figured out. We took the whole day over it and added in a trip to the Cathedral on route as well as a nice lunch and a couple of 'Pints of Interest' which were a great way to review evidence and answer the clues. Will definitely do more elsewhere and have already recommended to friends.

  Solving clues to find the murderer whilst exploring Bath  - Great experience, went to see the tourist parts but also saw tucked away things as well. Clues were quite difficult so would not recommend for smaller children. The nice thing about it was that you didn't have to solve the clue to move on and in fact we didn't solve the murder until we got home.

  Edinburgh Old Town  - Great fun. It's become a family tradition to do a mystery trail around cities we have visited for the first time, as it helps us find out lots of places and facts that we wouldn't have found on our own. This was our second Killer Trail and we thoroughly enjoyed it - the puzzles were a good level of challenge and we had fun finalising the details over a well deserved meal at the end!

  A fantastic fun day! - We discovered this yesterday when looking for something different to do in the city that we live in . We loved it so much that we went to York today to do another one!
We found things that we didn’t even know about and learned more about Manchester! The clues were perfect difficulty and really engaging and fun, the route was brilliant and I’d recommended this for anybody looking for something different to do - the attention to detail is amazing! Perfect for us as a couple but I know it would be brilliant with other adults (friends or family) or with younger children too. Thank you for a fantastic day out - we can’t wait to do our third trail soon 🙂

  Fabulous Family Fun!  - We participated in the Silence of the Shambles trail as we were visiting York for the weekend. Not only did the trail take us past the tourist spots we wanted to see, it also took us off piste- which was just as valuable. My 6 year old Nephew absolutely LOVED this & has already requested to do another. While some questions were too tricky for him, we broke them down & solved them together, he was actively involved at every stage.
This is the 2nd 'Killer Trails' that I have completed. I completed the Birmingham one the previous week & enjoyed this experience just as much.
I'm visiting London in July so have already bought the 2x London trails- CAN'T WAIT!!

  IMPractical Jester - Lincoln Killer Trails  - Great day out picking up little bits about a city we have visited a lot already and seeing new parts. A lovely little route. Would help if my wife could count the letters right though!! Fully recommend.

  Great Fun - This is our 5th Killer Trail in a different city. Great way of seeing the area, architecture and points of interest while having fun. I look forward to our next city break.

  Mothers Day Murder Mystery! - This was such a fun way to see Oxford. I went with my mum for Mothers Day as something different to do and we love a murder mystery. The clues are not too easy or too hard, the perfect level of difficulty. We have lived local to Oxford for years but found ourselves visiting areas we hadn't been to before. We had such a fun day, and enjoyed being able complete it at our own pace due to the wet weather. Would recommend and would definitely do another one!

  Fantastic way to see the city and have fun!  - I took my mum for Mothers Day in a day trip to Winchester, we wanted to see all the sites and have some fun and this was the best way to do it. The trail leads you all around the historic sites and gives you a great chance to find interestings you wouldn't normally see.

  Murder mystery site seeing  - What’s not to love? Solving murders and seeing the best parts of beautiful Winchester.
We went on a particularly nice day and it made our group absolutely fall in love with Winchester. The puzzle is hard so bring a group because every person contributed in different ways to crack the case.
Awesome thing to do if you are looking for an outdoor activity, bonding, having a laugh, seeing some really cool stuff.

  Good fun - Went with my Scout group and we really enjoyed it. Challenging enough but good fun. The trip round Birmingham was interesting for many of them who had never been to Birmingham at night.

  Brilliantly entertaining!  - Absolutely fantastic. Ingenious clues, great use of the cities sights.
Really liked that it included all of the key tourists sights of Bath.

  Another great Killer Trail  - This was our third Killer Trail and just as enjoyable as the other two.

Having visited York a couple of times before the city isn’t completely new to me but again the trail really makes you take in and appreciate the place. As you’re not doing the trail as part of an organised group either it makes it more intimate and gives you flexibly which came in really handy on this particular visit as we weren’t able to do it on the evening we had originally planned so instead got up early and made a great Saturday morning of it.

We enjoy these so much it’s almost dictating where we have UK breaks away as I always want to fit a Killer Trail into it!

  Fun way to explore  - We wanted to try something new during our valentine’s day trip away and honestly we are hooked - already planning our next trips around where these trails are located! a fun and easy way to explore the city, we cannot recommend enough!

  Fun and engaging way to explore!  - This trail took us around so many great places and included areas we would not have discovered had we not done it! We found out about 'snickelways' and enjoyed a drink in one of the many lovely pubs! It was a fun way to explore the city and we got the puzzle right at the end which was a bonus!!

  Cambridge Killer Trail  - Fantastic activity, even in the freezing cold! Thoroughly enjoyed the cryptic clues. A couple of excellent ideas that you really have to have your eyes peeled for!

  Great way to see the city  - So well put together!

Really enjoyed doing this and not only seeing all the sights but also discovering some places off the tourist track.

The clues were just the right balance of tricksy, and the facts in the trail gave us a good idea of the history and character of the city.

I use a mobility scooter and although the trail was not marked as accessible, when I emailed the killer trails team they provided me with alternative directions which allowed me to complete the trail.

It was the perfect way to see Edinburgh and we will definitely be doing more!

  Great way to explore  - Good fun. We enjoyed exploring Cambridge using this game. Was a fun experience with plenty to learn too!

  Walking tour with a twist  - Great walking tour with a twist. A lovely walk taking in all of the sights and sounds of Chester. We had lots of fun solving the clues (which were more challenging than I'd expected). We visited local hostelries and finished with a delicious Thai meal. It was a lovely sunny day too!

Thanks for the time and trouble taken to produce this. We had great fun and learned lots about Chester along the way.

  A great way to spend an afternoon - Spent a very enjoyable few hours solving the riddles and clues (while calling into a few drinking establishments along the way!). Made us look upwards and see things we had never noticed before and view the city with fresh eyes. Some of the clues are quite tricky and we had to use the hints. But we identified the killer and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend. (But you probably need good weather, we had lovely autumn sunshine)

  Killer trail in Steel City  - This is a brilliant activity for a day out in Sheffield. We completed this killer trail puzzle during my husband's birthday weekend and the absolutely loved it! Plenty of "Pint Stops" on the way.

  Enjoyable trail for a birthday present, enjoyed together with the family. Highlights Birmingham’s attractions nicely  - The experience was enjoyable and a lot of fun for the birthday girl, who really got her teeth stuck into solving the murder mystery.
The only thing which was a little problem, was the Christmas markets restricting access to a couple of the monuments we needed to get to, for clues.
The overall atmosphere and experience was enjoyed. However, for those that are considering completing the trail around Christmas time, maybe there needs to be a slightly diverted trail for the two restricted clues instead.

  We now all have qualified for a deerstalker and a magnifying glass  - We started in the rain but that did not deter us. Solving the clues and finding out more about Winchester stopping for lunch at halfway. The clues were challenging but we each made a contribution. Great day out for familes or small groups - worth every penny.

  Give it a go, you will have a blast.  - Would have loved to have stayed overnight so we could have spent more time in the attractions.
Would recommend making an overnight stay to really appreciate it.

  Great fun  - Previously did the Chester trail which was great fun and a brilliant way to explore a city I didn’t know all that well. Manchester on the other hand I wasn’t sure what to expect as already knew the place very well and thought some of the magic exploring new unseen places might be missing however it was just as fun in its own different way.

I’d highly recommend this to those visiting for the first time and equally those like me who’ve seen the place more than they care to remember!

Oh and bonus points for a spooky experience in one of the pints of interest along the way 👻

  Birmingham Killer Trail 5/5 Experience!!!  - It was definitely something different from our usual traveling activities so we had tons of fun! Time & Brum's weather were on our side back then so those were definitely a bonus to our experience! The trail took us to spots that we sure wouldn't have gone to if the trip was solely up to us to plan. Would definitely try out the other trails when time permits again. Thank you for this lovely experience!!!

  Cerealisly Great Trail  - Great time solving the case in our home city Manchester! I discovered many places and found out things I hadn't known before. The clues really got us thinking - we definitely need to work on our Roman numerals (even with the guide!). The case was really well thought out, a nice touch to Manchester. The trail was easy enough to follow even if you're not from Manchester. We really enjoyed it!

  Great fun!  - I did the Birmingham city trail with my sister today. We took about 4 hours, including time to eat & drink along the way.
The puzzles were varied & well thought out. Nothing was missing, & they weren't too easy or too difficult.
We both agree that we'd recommend this to anyone. It was really enjoyable & showed us things about our home city that we didn't know.
We hope Killer Trails add more locations (Bournemouth please!), & will definitely try out one of the London one on our visit their next month.

  Fun and Rewarding Family afternoon in West End  - Excellently produced and intriguing mystery trail, which covered a lot of ground and had multiple layers to keep you guessing. Easy to take a break halfway through as there's quite a lot of walking! Not too easy and not too difficult, with useful clues to help you. All the family enjoyed it, including teenagers!

  Fun Alternative walk around Brum  - We thoroughly enjoyed this trail, great fun and a different and interesting way of walking around Birmingham. We ambled around and took a few detours along the way, the library and mailbox to have beer stops! Would highly recommend

  A great way to spend a couple of hours - Recently returned from a week in Padstow and we did the trail on one of the days where it wasn't nice enough to go on the beach.

I'd highly recommend it, we had a mix of teenagers and adults and we all really enjoyed it, also saw a few places in Padstow that we've never come across before, despite visiting several times.

Definitely a great way to spend a couple of hours.

  Well worth it! - Firstly, we were unable to complete the trail as my son wasn't well. However, the trail itself was good (apart from the cold windy weather). We couldn't find the first clue at all, so we just move on to the next one. You definitely get to see all the historic landmarks, as you pass many eateries, cafes and shops. For the price, it's defiantly worth it, as you can always come back and do it again if you don't complete it the first time.

  A fun way to see the sights  - We did the Death on the Mersey mystery with our two boys (14 and 10). Great fun for everyone solving the clues, and an enjoyable way to discover some of the main sights around Liverpool city centre. You get the whole clue sheet in advance, so you can solve them in any order depending on your itinerary; and there's no time limit (we split it across two days). Will definitely do more of these when we visit other cities.

  Brilliant murder mystery trail  - Fantastic afternoon solving the puzzle and clues of the murder mystery trail, it took use to historical places we would have never known were in Manchester! We are definitely going to do another trail in a different city. Would 100% recommend trying one as you won’t regret it!

  Fantastic! 5*  - Received this as part of my birthday present and what a fantastic present it was! We had so much fun following the trail and solving the riddles and clues. We enjoyed stopping off at the "pints of interest" and finding out the history of places. I'd never been to Chester before and this trail made sure we got to see and explore everything. The effort put into these trails is incredible - from the trail itself to the riddles, illustrations and thought put into it. I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to do the Chester murder mystery trail, it was great! I'm looking forward to doing another murder mystery trail in another city very soon! 🕵🏻‍♀️👻

  Great way to explore  - I bought this as part of a night away with my girlfriend in Chester and it was a fantastic way to explore the city day and night taking in the history and sights while stopping off at various points along the way for a drink in some of Chesters storied (maybe haunted?) pubs.

You can tell a lot of time and effort has gone into preparing the clues and they’re a nice medium between being overly simple and so complex it could become frustrating.

I’d highly recommend this to anyone be it their first or fourth time to Chester as a fun day or evening out and we’ll certainly be doing more of these in the other locations on offer.

  Great fun for all the family!  - The Murder Mystery trail was part of our Hen weekend. Such great fun A fab way of seeing parts of Cambridge you may otherwise miss. Really clear instructions and directions to each clue If you're thinking of doing one .DO IT!!! You won't be disappointed Great fun for all the family! 😊

  "Interactive Cluedo" made in Birmingham  - We really enjoyed "playing Cluedo in a different way". Not everybody got on board straight away as it was quite a hot and humid day to walk all over the city centre, however, it did not take long till everybody got involved and at the end all of my friends said they had a nice time. Even though we all live in Birmingham, it remained interesting throughout the whole journey and we discovered places (around the Canal) we haven't seen before. We definitely recommend if you'd like to experience Birmingham in a fun , budget-friendly way - probably you should just choose a cooler day for it 😀 - Thank you Killer Trails for a great time, we can't wait for our next adventure to explore other parts of the country in this unique way!

  The Cereal Killer - Manchester  - Did this for Fathers Day with 3 x adults and 4 x kids (all under 11). Had a fab time, showing them around Manchester. We really enjoyed it, it's well thought out, just the right length and great value for money. I'd highly recommend.

  Marvellous Murder Mystery  - This is a great day out for something different. The trail is nice and accessible. This takes you in and around Padstow with some marvelous views.

The clues and directions are of an adequate difficulty level to keep this fun whilst on holiday.

This is a great idea from the creator and a good way to visit different cities as they offer many more which we are looking forward to .

  Bath in the glory!  - What a fab way to spend a day in Bath.
Easy to follow directions that take you around all the main tourist attractionswhilst showing you the watering holes along the way! I learnt alot of interesting things about bath that I didn't know

Clues can be challenging, but there are enough hints to help.

  Great activity  - Good fun and stretched the legs and braincells. Saw parts of Cambridge we had never noticed before. Great sense of achievement once done. Good footwear essential.

  Fun puzzles!  - Great trail, fun puzzles and took you on a good senic route of bath. Could be improved by updating some of the clues (one was a bit convulted and another hard to access due to construction work). Definitely recommend and would do another killer trail in the future!

  Great day out  - We did this today and loved it, it was satisfying solving the clues and eliminating suspects! Loved the walk around our hometown too. 10/10

  Fun challenge  - We had a great day doing this hunt.
Bit of a reunion but didn't want to just sit and drink all day!
Wandering around the city in places not normally visited was great.
The mystery was challenging enough, but not frustrating.
Popped into a few lovely pubs for a mulled wine to warm up and ended with a lovely meal. Perfect day.

  Great fun.  - Fantastic and fun way to explore the city. Unfortunately some scaffolding threatened to scupper our very first clue but we managed it. Clues were sometimes challenging but totally do-able.

  Perfect activity when in London  - This was the perfect activity for my group and me! One in the group had never been to London before, and the rest of us had been several times. But this trail certainly made sure that we all got to see something we'd never seen before!
It was so much fun and the clues were a perfect mix of difficulty! I would highly recommend this activity to anyone interested in experiencing London in a different way.

  Great day out for everyone!  - We all had a great day out! Saw bits of Leicester we have never seen before and learnt loads along the way. Plenty of places to stop for a drink on the route too!

  Fun way to explore Oxford!  - Such a great way to explore Oxford! The tour was so fun and engaging, which takes to you to lots of key Oxford landmarks!

The online format also means you can take breaks when you need and keeps it very relaxed! So you can tailor it to your group!

Definitely recommend and will be doing another one again!

  Fab way to discover London  - What a fab way of seeing parts of London we’ve never seen before. A couple of the clues didn’t make sense to us, but not sure if that was us being a bit daft, or they weren’t explained properly. In any case, we had a fab time with a few coffee stops and a well deserved meal when we had finished.

  Fun times for all the family.  - Friends and I completed this at the weekend. I've lived in Manchester for 8 years now and I still found new things.
Great story, would say its a medium level in terms of how challenging it was.
Highly recommended. Even better with adults having a couple of drinks at key locations.

  A brilliant way to see the city  - We only had one day in Liverpool so this mystery trail was a great way to see all the highlights in just a few hours. Plus the trail was fun to complete along the way.

  Murder Mystery London  - I was in charge of planning a trip for my family, as a day out. They said to me that there were all money conscious and that I had to make it cheap. I stumbled across Killer Trails murder mystery and thought perfect! Around £13 in total for a mystery that all six of us could play, which worked out to be a few pound each between us! I printed the PDF file that was sent to me three times, and we split into three groups of two. This made us highly competitive and so much fun! We raved from start to finish to see who could complete it first, we were so competitive and the game was so good that every minute flew by, we were laughing and giggling bumping into each other, hiding our secrets and trying not to look obvious when we found something the entire way around! It was actually so much fun. I don’t usually write long reviews but I thought this company well deserved one. What a great, cheap day out for my entire family. And also if we wanted to stick together we could have, and taken it slow and enjoyed the walk. Either way would work. 10/10
