If you colour in 1240 as it would appear on a calculator, the words visible in the remaining segments say, “You can remove the weapon that rhymes with crystal from the case.”

On page 1, the purple buttons have 3 holes. On page 2, the purple buttons have 4 holes. On page 3, the purple buttons have 3 holes. And on page 4, the purple buttons have 3 holes. So across the four pages, the number of holes on purple buttons is 3434, which is the same as the axe’s number. Get the gist?!
