  • You should have collected 38, 2, 3, 6, 2008, and 1897. The last two numbers decode more than one letter each and should be split in half, i.e. to 20, 08, 18, and 97. Use the Cipher in the inventory to convert the list of numbers to T S I U G N 1 L, which spells L1NGUIST (or Linguist) backwards. The suspect, who is a linguist, is Charlie Derwin.
